I want to get a new computer and I want to be able to play games like The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 and use Photoshop and video editing on some online gaming.

So I’m going to try to use billmelater to get a fast computer that I can use the high settings on games on and handle whatever I need to do.

I purchased this gaming computer off of IBuyPower last night. It was the best website I was able to find which allows me to pick out all the parts I want for relatively cheap prices, and then build & ship it to me. The computer ended up coming to a total of approximately 00 USD before shipping and taxes. I did not need to purchase speakers/keyboard/mouse. I will also be purchasing a new monitor next week for about 0, 24" LSD with a 2 ms response time and 50,000:1 dynamic contrast, as I didn’t want to have to pay more in shipping to buy a monitor from IBuyPower

Do you think this is a good build? I’m aware that it’s a bit overkill right now, but how long do you think it will be able to run every game on the highest settings for? Years? If so, how many? Any comments/opinions/constructive criticism is welcome.
