I want to have 4 security cameras installed in a store but am not sure how much to pay someone to do it does anyone know what a decent amount to pay is? Its a 4 camera system that is wired and a computer that needs to be installed and setup any prices will be helpful. Thanks,
Well thanks for the thorough answer but what I meant was how much is a decent amount to pay for the installation of a four camera wired system? I already have the cameras I just want them installed but dont want to low ball the person he is charging me 0 right now but i told him i was shopping around still i think hell do it for 0?

Is there a camera system I can set up online and watch my baby sitter and my kids online from work computer?

I’m looking for a indoor only "security" camera system that’s wireless.

Can you recommend any good ones?

It’s mainly to keep an eye on my elderly mom. Just in case she falls or something.

Oh, it also needs to be viewable on a computers at home and away.

My husband has been working for Exxon for 6 months, and during this this time he is always being told by his manager that he is going to be fired any little thing he does she tells him she is going to fire him. She has the worst attitude and talks my husband very rudely with a very bad attitude. She is constantly accusing him of stealing money, because the camera system is so old and static that she cannot she him drop it and no money has ever really came up missing. She said that he didn’t iron his shirt hes fired. He first started working there and she told him he could have free fountain drinks so he would get his drink and then she told him she was going to fire him for stealing cups he had no Idea that he could not use a cup for his drinks and no on told him he had to pay for the cup so I offered to pay fo all the cups he used. So I purchased a cup for him to take and she demanded the receipt which he didn’t have because I purchased it. So she took him in to watch the video to see if he brought the cup in. He cannot work like this everyday being told something my family needs this job and her threats are really starting to wear us down. Is this ok or is there something a little wrong with the manager. There is more but I am done.
If he asks to be transfered to another store can they fire him instead?
He is now suspended because he didnt tuck his shirt in he thought it was ok because he was wearing shorts.

hey all, i’m looking to put in a camera system in my fraternity house at college, i am looking to do it the cheapest way 2-4 cameras and i wanted it to record on the internet (i think). i really don’t know anything about this stuff or what i should buy or what i really need. please help also size doesn’t matter i almost want people to see them and they will be indoor.

This is the software I’m using on a PC computer to run DVR card. My problem is that I have lost the software’s installation CD. I am locked out of access to the files being recorded because amazing enough, I have to have a stupid password in order to access my own freaking recordings. Is there a way to bypass or recover the password? If not, is there a place online to download the software and reinstall it? (I checked the manufacture’s website but I didn’t have any luck). While my cameras are still recording, I don’t have anyway of getting any of the recording to playback, since the video files being compiled are NOT in Windows Media format!!!! This is a nightmare, I’ve got an operational camera system so secure, not even I can access it. Please help.

I work security and when we make pictures for people to identify suspects the image is so blurry no one can make out 100% who the person is. It doesn’t help that our camera system records in the usual 640 x resolution that is only gets clearer the smaller the video window is, which then doesn’t help because then its too small to see the person. Is there a way to make a picture clearer or higher resolution like those cameras that can zoom in and automatically adjust resolution for a clear view?
Yea….I don’t own the company genious. I don’t think I can slip the bill to my employer for over 100 new cameras, dvr system, and labor costs…

For 4 years I’ve had a person coming on my property when I’m gone on an errand or during the night. There’s been evidence by crushed grass and mulch etc that someone stands outside the window at night. They’ve left food on my window sill, throw pebbles(or whatever)at the windows or siding at night.Theres been 4 yrs of too many things to write about. I installed a house alarm for the inside that I pay for monthly. Yesterday I bought a large, tall, tropical plant to put outside my kitchen window. Today I see one of the branches with the huge fronds was cut during the night.
I dont have the $$$ to get an outdoor camera system. Police say as soon as someone’s been caught on video they can do something. I really do not have that kind of money, not at all

The camera system only has a VGA out that is currently connected to a monitor. I want to be able to connect it to my DVD recorder for giving copies to the police. The DVD recorder only has s-video and composite inputs. Any ideas? They make adapter cables but they all say "for video cards with tv out capability."

So I came home today and found that one of my security cameras in my yard on a tree had been snapped off and stolen, took a closer look around the yard and found that 2 out of 3 had been broken off and stolen. The two in the front yard are the ones stolen. One in the back yard had not been touched, I went inside my house and found my entire camera system that records the videos had been ripped apart and stolen so now i cannot even look on the third camera to see who might have done it what should I do?
well im going through everything now its seems that when they cut the camera wires my system is supposed to lock up so they cant delete videos and sound a little alarm so they must have freaked out and stole the whole thing how will they ever get caught they stole all the evidence and took it with them
