I am writing a story in which law enforcement officers use surveillance cameras to catch arsonists. The site is rural. It has electrical power and cell phone coverage, but not internet capability. How would the police review the data recorded on the cameras? Would they use the internet via cell phone or use the cameras’ memory cards?

I do not want video games just actually things i will use for a long time

I’m getting really annoyed because I can’t decide what I want for Christmas. Be a helpful sport and help me please? =)
I’m 13, a girl, not very outdoorsy or whatever I don’t do sports. I’m not very comfortable wearing makeup yet please don’t suggest that. I already have enough…

Zune
Video Camera
TV
DVD Player
Plenty of DVD’s

What I can’t have:
Laptop (tis a bummer)

What I want(so far):
a few Ds games(one or two)
Either Airwalkers or Vans
Juicy Couture Perfume

If I ask for clothes I’ll look like a person from Little House on the Prairie, I’ll wait till my birthday. I have a lot of jewelry. I thought about a game system but I only want a Wii and I decided to wait till next year or so when they come in different colors.
So help me?
I forgot to say that I’m pretty sure I’m getting gift certificates already so thats that and I have a cell phone so I’m good there also.

And the whole "world peace" thing I’ve asked for awhile and I told my parents I really didnt need anything (which really I don’t but hey) and they said It’s Christmas so I need to get something and they want a list

I should have asked why does the US continue to support Israel…and yes I support them as well.

OK, we are going to be really imaginitive here:
Lets say we are going to make a cell phone and laptop (or notebook) together as a set, isp and wireless plan bundled together as well.
What features would you like to see on each?
Physically, what would the form be (remember the phone and laptop are a set)
Would the phone be candybar, flippy, or a totally new form?
How good would the camera be?
What would the harddrive space for the phone be?
How would the cellphone and the computer communicate (i.e bluetooth etc)
Music? Video? TV? Radio? Flashlight? Laser pointer? Projection photo viewer?

What operating system would it be compatible with? (i.e mac, windows or both?)

This is your opportunity to develop a "swiss army" device, limited by only your imagination.

Remember when you were a kid and used to think of a fort, and how cool it would be? Kind of like this with a cell phone/laptop combo. Dream!
PS: This is not market research. I have no, repeat, no ulterior motive for asking this. I am just interested in some really cool ideas, thats all. I do not work in marketing or technology. I wouldn’t know how to design this, let alone market it. I happen to be a bartender, so often I find myself talking about the weirdest things. The only gain I can see from this is if some marketer finds this, and all the cool answere I hope I get, and maybe actually builds something we might all want!

I am a high school male who is interested in most of the typical stuff…and I have no idea what to ask for…I know cash is an option, but my grandparents like getting me an actual gift. (around 0 range…)

I need nothing for the sports I participate in.
I have all the video games/systems/accessories I could possibly want…
I have no desire for a kindle or any electronic reader
I have no need for anything pertaining to the musical instrument I play…
I have a bike
I have no need for any gift cards
I have no need for anything car related.

Please offer any suggestions.

I’m thirteen years old (turning forteen on Christmas day ) and I need some ideas for what I should ask for for Christmas. I always know exactly what I want but this year, at the beginning of the year, I wanted a video camera, and recently, I have begun to reconsider. It really tripped me up not knowing what to ask for so now I am having trouble getting my head on straight. If that makes any sense at all :/ The limit is usually around 0. Every year I get one big, often times "technological thing" and a lot of little things like clothes, make up, video games, etc.

Here is a list of things I already have:
~TV
~Laptop
~Stereo System
~Wii
~Camera
~Ipod
~Sewing Machine
~Guitar

Here are some things that I have already considered asking for:
~Nicer Cell Phone
~Another Guitar
~Video Camera (which I’m not so sure about any more)
~Satalite for my TV

Please don’t tell me I’m spoiled. Maybe I am compared to a lot of people. But that list has things from two Christmases and Birthdays and I earned the tv and stereo by working on weekends for 5 months straight. Also, my family donates a lot of money to different charities and organizations, so don’t tell me to use the gift on something useful instead. If you wanted to know a little bit about my personality, I am really into "the arts" (i.e. acting, singing, dancing, playing instruments, fashion design, art. . . you get the idea), I also love animals and clothes, I am more independant and not very outgoing (don’t get me wrong, I have plenty of friends. lol). I am a girly girl and my favorite color is pink =] Furniture is okay since I am moving into a bigger room and need to fill some space. Best answer to anyone who gives me a good idea I haven’t thought of yet. I will report anyone that calls me spoiled and tells me to spend my money on something useful.
