Is this a good video camera to buy?

I’m looking to buy a video camera and just wondering what I should look out for.

So far I like the look of this (budget) one:

How much is this old Nintedo Family Computer System worth?

Just found a Nintendo Family Computer Disk System HCV-023 and HVC-022 (the red and white machines with the black part) in our garage, there’s no power cord but some games and cords connecting the pieces together.. anyone know of it’s value? Is it worth trying to sell on ebay?

See this link for a picture of what it is:

How overpriced is this ebay auction?

It’s an old tube-based sony camera with a betamax recorder. really old, low resolution, seller isn’t testing it, needs betamax tapes (can still be found) etc.
my interest is that it is a somewhat affordable underwater camera. how much should the shipping and how much should the price be?
I don’t want to pay too much for the camera, but the case that it comes with looks nice.
thanks.
I know the camera is really worth next to nothing, having been surpassed easily by modern cameras-but underwater cases do hold some value, as long as other things can be mounted in them and the seals replaced.
This does fit my needs, mainly in that i am going for the look that beta has, plus the sensor benefits it has over bayer pattern cameras.
my main concern was the price that the seller wants, considering what the seller says.
okay, untested, don’t know, I can live with that.
but I sell on ebay, one of my parents has a store there, and none of that 4 star 5 star listing removal seller penalty is true. sure, it’s a good camera, untested is a little shaky deal, but with a seller outright lieing like that, i get worried. maybe they did test it and it’s broken. maybe the camera has been totally gutted, etc.

How do you know what kind of video camera to buy?

hey, i want to buy a good video camera but i dont really want to exceed 250$

ok so i have quite a few of pepsi points, as of right now 135 but i still have wut im gessing is at least a hundred more.
now what i want you to tell me is would you

A. enter a sweepstakes to win a home theater system
B. enter a sweepstakes to win a flip video camera
C. buy stuff with the pepsi points and re-sell it for cash
D. try and sell the account on ebay

but i also want you to knot that i plan on doing this towards the end of the contest wich is 11/15/08 so im hoping to have at least double what i have now

NEC DV-5800A Drive – Does it Burn Too? Trying to copy my home Movies!!!?

I thought I was trying to do a good thing – now it’s getting more difficult by the minute. I have dozens of home movies shot on the small tape 8mm format. It was great quality when it came out but now it’s basically obsolete. The old sony 8mm vcr players are almost gone except for eBay and my old 8mm video camera is now beyond repair.
I bought the last 8mm video camera that BestBuy had and I bought a Dazzle DVD Recorder to basically "play" the old movies in the camera, then the "Dazzle" moves them into my computer to get them burned for posterity onto the Hard Drive or a DVD. The Dazzle only uses USB 2.0 so I had to add a USB 2.0 card to my computer.
My computer is an older Dell Dimension 8100 that I have kept as upgraded as I can with 640MB Ram, bigger hard drive, 1.4Ghz processor, new Graphics Card, etc.
The DVD Drive in my System is a NEC DV-5800A. Will this burn DVDs or does it only "play" them?
Any other suggestions as to how I get about 40 of these 8mm tapes burned to DVD????

How to use a VHS camera to a computer?

I asked this question before and I got a answer from "LittleDog" I can’t seem to e-mail you so this is for you. I’m sorry for not telling you my system information earlier. I have a Compaq PC. I have 3GB ram. 320Gb hard drive (I have 206Gb left). I have a AMD processer. I sherched on the internet and I found a USB VHS to DVD Converter Adapter VIDEO CAPTURE CARD on ebay. It says that you can record using that. It’s 10 dollers, pretty cheap for a device like that, but I think it’s worth it. It has it’s software with it and movie editing software and It’s says It’s goning to work. And yes there are many battery problems with vhs cameras, so when I use mine I’ll just hook up the ac adapter with it and have unlimited power. If you still have questions please leave a comment and I’ll get to you as soon as possible. Thanks

P.S. What video format will the EasyCap Adapter give me?

Thanks
