I want to make videos and edit them because I’m getting a camera for christmas. In our house we have the macbook , and a macbook pro, and I have a Dell Inspiron windows Vista laptop. Which computers should I use and what editing system should I use?

ok for christmas i got a video camera and a tripod for it. since than, i have had to replace to tripod (tht was 4o dollars) i had to buy a stupid editing system tht is crapy cause windows movie maker wouldnt work (39 dollars) and i have had to buy discs cause the ones i got were the wrong kind! (20 dollars) i made a stupid lego animation and finished editing it after like a week of frustration!!!!!!! and now i cant get it on youtube because of the stupid file format tht i dont kno how to change! i asked for a video camera and i love that i got it. BUT IT IS DRIVING ME INSANE!!!!!!!! I HATE IT SOOO MUCH!!!!! BUT YET, ITS ALL I WANTED! lol it sounds weird and im not trying to be spoiled but i dont know wat to do. i made a video 30 minutes ago and wound up throwing out the disc because it wouldnt let me finilize it and my mom got all mad and yelled at me.. wat should i do?

Okay, so i’m thinking of getting a video camera, and as editing goes, i’ve only ever used my schools’. Which has been imovie. What would be a good editing system that works with PCs?

Okay, so I have a non digital video camera from a long time ago.. so I hooked it up to my dvd system and burned the videos on to disks. I threw the dvds into my computer to try to save them, so I can edit them.. put them on facebook.. etc. but I can’t figure out how to save them.

When I click to explore the dvd, it shows me two folders: VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS

RM is filled with DAT files and IFO files and BUP Files while the TS folder has videos and a few BUP IFO etc. files inside. But when I try to drag and drop the video files on to my editing system they come without sound. If you don’t get what I’m saying I can try to explain it to you fuller. PLEASE HELP!!

I am kind of upset because my grandma got me a really big, nice, professional, video camera for me with the tripod and everything (I peeked! lol) but my mom and dad bought me a nice video camera too so my dad made my grandma take it back and then he took back the nice camera he got too and got me a flip video camera instead… I wanted to do really professional serious projects but I have seen the flip before and I don’t even think I can use it with other editing softwares. I don’t like the flip and I don’t like the editing system it must come with plus I really wanted the tripod so I wouldn’t have to hold it and get shaky footage. I didn’t want to seem like a brat so I just smiled and said thank you but my dad did all of this without talking to my mom about it and he knows nothing about cameras he just said the flip was better. so ii guess I can deal with it but I just wanted to know if the flip is okay for really important serious projects and if it works with other editing softwares.

I have a digital camera but want to upload videos from it onto youtube. The videos are coming out eh…..because I don’t have an editing system. Is a flip the better choice?

My friend and I love to film movies, but all I have is a cheap video camera. I want to get a little more creative with things. I can’t really afford anything, but if its like super important I will save up to buy it.

So we wrote a script and all, and I need a set. I don’t have furniture for the sets, but i have a lot of card board and I plan to maybe paint the background onto it (even though it would look fake) so you have any other ideas that would help?

As in technology things I have a camera and few lights. I have a nice editing system on my computer too. Anything else I might need? PLEASE HELP MEH!

i got a new camera and would like to put videos on youtube but i need a good editing system i would be able to download either for mac or pc

I’m shopping for a new, very good, video camera. I have a macbook pro with Final Cut Express 4 as an editing system. This is my first mac so I do not know much about the types of videos it supports. This camera will be used for casual, day-to-day filming as well as artistic videos using macro settings and focus. I am torn between these two cameras. Which one should I get?

I have uploaded both videos to my computer, and when i go to put them in Windows Movie Maker they are not found, although they are still saved to the computer.

Camera type: Kodak Easy Share
Editing system: Windows Movie Maker.

What do I do??
