how much would a used hitachi 52" plasma tv cost with no speakers and no remote control?

is it not worth buying?

Under the guise of "just charging the laptop" I just noticed that the computer sitting on the window sill in the bedroom has been recording all day long while my husband was out of the house. In other words, he is spying on me. Of course, I have absolutely nothing to hide and I don’t think he should have ANY reason to suspect something so what gives?? Upon noticing, my reaction was to walk up to the computer and start talking to it asking it if my husband was crazy. Just in case it isn’t recording audio, I went with the "safe option", wrote a little sign that said "Are you psycho?" and held it up, so he would get the point. I am now going to go to the gym and let him come home, review his footage, and reenter the house with cross arms and a "what is wrong with you" foot tap. Any insights? What is his problem? I’m the most loyal woman in the world!

I’m stuck between getting a Hitachi 42" 1080p FHD TV or an Insignia 47" 1080p HDTV. I know one is bigger then the other but I need to know which has better quality all around. Any advice would be great! 10 points to the most in depth answer.

We have a Hitachi 55" rear projection tv and the lamp has gone out. Cheapest I can find is 5 online. However there is someone giving away a 52" mitsubishi on freecycle that needs work (picture is jumping). Not knowing if that has to do with a lamp, I wonder if we could use the lamp from their tv in ours?

Camera’s that only take 4 frames a second and can’t even catch an airplane on tape. My local K-mart store has a better security and surveillance system than the Pentagon does. Is this the way Donald Rumsfield "wanted" it?

I am looking to buy within the next couple of days (so quickness is GREATLY appreciated!) a camcorder or video camera. I don’t have 0 to spend on one, more like 0-0 MAX. (sheesh that sounds crazy for me personally) BUT I am hoping to find one in fairly new condition USED to I might be able to get a nicer camera USED rather than a crappier one NEW. (I’ll be careful buying used, trust me) Anyways, there are a TON of reviews and such out there, but a lot of them are contradicting, and not very complete, so I am looking for people who OWN a video camera they just love. So please, any advice of a specific camera that you have and love it, (pro’s and con’s) I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks everyone! Here are some things that I am looking for in 1 for myself:
1.) NightShot is a must
2.) would like for it to be able to take pictures in addition to video
3.) NONE of these pocket/flip camcorders, I want a for REAL one, you know?
4.) Can’t be CRAZY expensive
5.) Don’t really have a preference as to what it records on (any advice/info on that would be appreciated, as in MiniDV versus Flash Memory, or DVD’s whatever. They’re all cool with me)
6.) Can be an older model, I don’t care, just want it to be durable, not all "fru fru" where I have to baby it or it will shatter.
7.) Want some descent zoom that’s for sure

I’m looking at the 55" Hitachi plasmas. One is the ‘Cineform’ Directors series and the other is not. What is Cineform?
In case anyone in the future finds this……..The only difference I could find was that the Cineform model has black speakers instead of the non-cineform’s silver speakers.

I own and use a Meade ETX80 telescope and am having problems getting it to start up electronically now.

I have owned this telescope now for around a year and started having problems with it a few months ago. It worked fairly good for the first half of the year and tracked things fairly accurately. I also own a Zhumell dobsonian 10" telescope tho and am trying to get the hang of astrophotography and understand the night sky with these two telescopes, my stellarium, registax, my video camera and my Celestron solar system imager. I am a beginner in star gazing and astrophotography.

So before I move on to an electronic 11in. schmidt cassegrian I would like to spend a few years messing around with my two scopes the the accessories I own before I move on.

the error that my Meade ETX-80 displays when I try and start it up reads as follows

"Proc. Trap 2"

It doesnt have its normal setup or anything. It just says "proc. trap 2" and nothing else.

I have tried pressing the buttons and working with it but nothing seems to change the fact. Also the batteries that are in it are perfectly fine.

All help is greatly appreciated.
