Am looking for a good camera security system for my house that connectsto a computer

i bought a new CCTV camera security system from ebay and i tried turning on the dvr on today i plugged everything in like in the directions but when i try to view the DVR on a monitor or TV it says no signal i tried vga and video output and all the screens say no signal it is a 320 gb DVR please help me ?????????????????????????????????????

The security system I purchased did not come with a software. I have tried to download the software but there is no manufacture tracks on my device (don’t know who made it). My computer will not recognize the wireless receiver and will not find any drivers for it. can some one help me aether fix it to where I can record using my laptop or record using my TV and another device (unknown device)?
[The wireless receiver has a USB port and a video and sound output for a TV]

is it possible to increase detail in video playback in the security system in my store without replacing the cameras

I’m gonna buy a securitycamera so that I can see what happens in my flat when I’m not there. I wanna be able to watch the video Image from the web. I have a wireless network/broadband connection and the system I’m thinkin of bying has a receiver that can be connected to a TV/VCR/DVR or even GPS. But how do I track the signal from the reciever to my network so I can see the signal wherever I may be at the time?
If you have a security system you want to be able to see what happens att all time. Not just when you’re only ten feet away. Right?

This morning, there was a cigarette on my garbage can. I was really upset, because none of my family smokes. I was more upset because the garbage can was melted little bit due to the light of a cigarette when someone put it there. I know this can be really dangerous to my family because i found several other cigarette on my front yard AND back yard. I know it’s a stretch, but it might cause a house fire. Plus i have found garbage thrown over my fence couple times. Also we have experienced several racist remarks from couple of kids in our neighborhood. I’ve contacted the police and they told me they have no solution unless we have the proof. Something like video camera set up around our house. I say this is ridiculous. Is there anything else i can do except just sit here and set up an expensive security system?
