What is the best video camera to buy under 200$?

I am looking for an affordable video camera under 0 with Full HD 1080 Camcorder with at least 10X zoom. Thanks

What is the best beginner camcorder that shoots HD video and good photos?

I’ve searched and most reviews say it’s bad in the dark or makes ticking noises or maybe is too expensive. I’m looking for a good camera with HD video, good photos, far zoom ( x10 or higher ), and doesn’t get grainy in the dark.

I found two amazing new cameras ,i saw there video review there features and specifications , Nikon P100 has bigger in each of (26.1X) optical power zoom , aperture (2.8) and (1280) video record , while Panasonic ZS7 has smaller size ,GPS and better colour saturation. Which is the best digital point and shoot camera to buy currently?

Hi, I really need help to buy a digital camera asap. All the online reviews have only further confused me.My requirements are:
1. 7-8 megapixel
2. 3-4 optical zoom
3. LCD screen
4. Good night pictures
5. different shoot modes
6. video (optional)
7. sharp, bright pictures
8. anti shake
9. face detection
10. as compact a body as possible.
I used to have a fancy for sony cybershot models but am told they are not as good as canon or nikon. fuji has also been recommended. A salesman recommended either the fuji F40 or the nikon S500 or the canon IXUS950. Can anyone help please? I have a budget of up to 0 but don’t necessarily have to go all the way so long as I can get a good reliable compact camera that has all the latest features and gives me the best pictures.

Good digital camera for recording video at gigs?

Okay so basically I’ve had a look around on here, but none of it’s working for me.
I’m looking for a good COMPACT (not a bridge nor an SLR) digital camera with good zoom and HQ video capture. It needs to be good for capturing audio, too, seeing as I’ll be taking it to gigs and stuff.
I have Canon Powershot S3 IS and it takes amazing quality video and photos, but the audio is just horrible, and its just way too big to keep taking to concerts, and its heavy too so I can’t jump around holding it :P The zoom is amazing on it though, 12x optical and like 44x combined or something.
Anyway.
I was looking at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5, and it seemed good with 9.1 MP and 10x optical zoom, but then I read reviews and found samples of footage shot at concerts and the audio quality was terrible.
I found video footage of recent McFly concerts (where I’ll most likely be videoing so yeah…) and there were some really good quality videos on there taken with a Sony Cybershot, but I was just wondering which model would be best? Bearing in mind it needs good zoom ’cause I’m usually stuck in fairly bad seats.

Or if you have any other suggestions, do tell me :)
It’s not all that urgent but I’d like to ask for it for Christmas ’cause my parents want to know what I want :p

But PLEASE, do not just tell me a brand, I want a model and some examples wouldn’t go amiss, though I could search those out myself, I’m not entirely lazy :P
I clearly said COMPACT camera, not an SLR or bridge or DSLR or whatever.
I’d quite like to be able to take stills as well as the video footage, and I wouldn’t be able to set up an extra microphone thing like somebody suggested seeing as it’s more than likely going to be prohibited :/

Video Camera Question.?

I am wondering which best.

I will be filming longboarding videos. If you wont know that. It is basically skateboarding but with a longboard for cruising around.

I cant decide between the Kodak Zi8 Portable Video Camera. Or the Olympus SP 600.

There are reviews on the Olympus saying that it isnt that well for getting videos of moving objects like longboarding. The Kodak Zi8 Camera looks just great. But the Kodak Zi8 Camera has either a four times zoom or a eight times zoom. Not sure which on it. But the Olympus has fifteen times zoom. The Olympus is only 720p but the Kodak Zi8 Camera can record 1080p. One thing is that I watched alot of Kodak Zi8 Videos. On www.youtube.com. They like load alot slower then any other video that is there. Like it seems like the Kodak Zi8 Camera loads the www.youtube.com videos really slow and takes forever to load a two minute video. On the other hand any other video on www.youtube.com loads just fine. Even when the video is at 360p its kinda slow. You can get a fisheye lens kit. For The Kodak. But I can get the Olympus SP 600 for One Hundred Dollars New.

Or the Kodak Zi8 Camera for seventy nine ninety nine. But I have a ten dollar credit so I could maybe get this sixty nine ninety nine. I am liking the Kodak Zi8 Camera. But it really makes me wonder why it takes forever for videos load. I wouldnt want any of my viewers. To just cancel out of a video. For Loading Slow. Then if people couldnt watch them because they took forever to load. That Is Lame. Any advice on what I should get which camera.
It probably takes like a minute to load a twenty second video. On The Kodak. But all other videos load Just right. I wouldnt want a viewer to just cancel out of all my videos because they wont load. Like who would sit and pause a video and wait a couple to minutes. They would just find a different video for watching. If that is the case that it is crap for loading. That really bugs myself alot. Then I might buy a camera for zero reason decision if videos load crappy.

C'mon some advice please?!? Need opinion on best video camera or camcorder?

I am looking to buy within the next couple of days (so quickness is GREATLY appreciated!) a camcorder or video camera. I don’t have 0 to spend on one, more like 0-0 MAX. (sheesh that sounds crazy for me personally) BUT I am hoping to find one in fairly new condition USED to I might be able to get a nicer camera USED rather than a crappier one NEW. (I’ll be careful buying used, trust me) Anyways, there are a TON of reviews and such out there, but a lot of them are contradicting, and not very complete, so I am looking for people who OWN a video camera they just love. So please, any advice of a specific camera that you have and love it, (pro’s and con’s) I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks everyone! Here are some things that I am looking for in 1 for myself:
1.) NightShot is a must
2.) would like for it to be able to take pictures in addition to video
3.) NONE of these pocket/flip camcorders, I want a for REAL one, you know?
4.) Can’t be CRAZY expensive
5.) Don’t really have a preference as to what it records on (any advice/info on that would be appreciated, as in MiniDV versus Flash Memory, or DVD’s whatever. They’re all cool with me)
6.) Can be an older model, I don’t care, just want it to be durable, not all "fru fru" where I have to baby it or it will shatter.
7.) Want some descent zoom that’s for sure
